Tapswap project to debut on Open Network blockchain

The Tapswap team has finally announced that their project will now debut on the Open Network blockchain, allaying any doubts regarding the blockchain.

This was disclosed in a statement by the Tapswap team via their official X account, stating why it would be launched on the TON blockchain.

The Tapswap project, formerly powered by the Solana blockchain, had announced that it was splitting ways with Solana without providing an update on the blockchain it would be debuting on, causing a stir in the cryptocurrency community.

Thus, this announcement has allayed concerns and boosted the confidence level of participants in the project.

Telegram has emerged as a significant player in the cryptocurrency space, supporting multiple Web 3 projects such as Blum, Notcoin, Tapswap, Hamster Kombat, and Yescoin.

Telegram’s blockchain, The Open Network (TON), is promoting bitcoin adoption by utilizing Telegram’s social media features.

TON is intended to be a high-performance blockchain capable of managing sizable apps and transactions.

Two Telegram-based Web 3 applications, Yescoin and Hamster Kombat, have also disclosed their respective plans to go live on the TON blockchain.
