"He underlined the president's resolve to see it through and exhorted Nigerian students to support the effort in order to guarantee that no worthy but underprivileged student is turned away from the loan" said Femi The Chief of Staff told the students that "continuous attempts are being made to address the union's concerns and that the government is ready to stop any impending industrial action by members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities". He added that President Tinubu has issued many directives with the goal of putting an end to academic union strikes at universities and other higher education institutions.
