The Standard Organisation of Nigeria has pledged to guarantee the country’s manufacture of high-quality goods.
While giving the MANCAP certificate for “5ml Deleject Disposable Syringes and Needles,” one of the products of HMA Medical Limited, the quality control organisation made the pledge in Ilorin, Kwara State.
The company reaffirmed its dedication to getting rid of inferior products from the market.
The SON coordinator, Mr. Ayeni Oyebolaji, praised the company for its ongoing commitment and innovation toward the development of high-quality medical equipment while speaking at an event hosted at the HMA Medical Limited factory in Ilorin.
The SON coordinator added as she handed the award to the business’s group executive director, Mr. Damilola Shittu, “We are here to appreciate, applaud, and celebrate with the company. Maintaining consistency in the quality of your items is important.
In addition, Oyebolaji declared that SON would accredit the Deleject 2ml syringe as soon as the relevant conditions were met.
Dr. Shittu also spoke and thanked SON for its encouragement and assistance throughout the years.
According to Shittu, who described the regulatory body as HMA’s mentor and partner, the company consistently produces high-quality goods that cater to the wants and demands of customers.
But he voiced worry over the importation of inferior goods, particularly syringes and needles, that was creating undue competition for indigenous manufacturers and putting Nigerians at risk. He appealed to SON to curb the menace.
