Shell, Ardova partner to boost energy sector productivity

Shell International has collaborated with Ardova Plc to create the inaugural Power Conference, which aims to encourage debate around productivity and competitiveness in the energy sector.

According to a statement from the corporation, the conference focused on the role of energy solutions in increasing productivity and generating growth in Nigerian businesses.

In the statement, the conference is the result of Ardova and Shell’s strategic relationship, which demonstrates their commitment to developing Nigeria’s energy industry and economic development.

The event brought together leaders, policymakers, and professionals to discuss creative energy solutions for Nigeria’s challenges and potential.

In his opening remark, the Group Executive Chairman of Ardova, Abdulwasiu Sowami underlined the significance of establishing a venue for important stakeholders to discuss energy sector solutions.

Sowami said, “The conference serves as a nexus for experts and stakeholders to readdress the pressing challenges facing the Nigerian power sector.

“It underscores the critical need for collaborative approaches to drive industrialization for growth and development. Our vision is to promote power as a national aspiration by meticulously designing and recognizing key opportunities to provide adequate results.”

Meanwhile, Ardova’s Managing Director, Moshood Olajide, added, “Ardova is committed to fostering innovation and sustainability. The conference provides an invaluable platform for collaboration and knowledge-sharing, essential for driving progress in our industry.

“We are excited to participate in discussions that will shape the future of energy and look forward to the opportunities that arise from this esteemed gathering.”

The Regional Sales Manager for Africa and European markets at Shell International, Samir Mahgoub said the firm was thrilled to cooperate with Ardova in its drive to create sustainable energy solutions in Nigeria and West Africa.

According to Mahgoub, this is an opportunity to share ideas and explore new approaches to driving the energy transition.

He stated that Ardova was an authorized distributor of Shell lubricants in Nigeria, and that the company wanted to boost efficiency and competitiveness for Nigerian businesses via innovative solutions.
