SEC, NIPC, NGX to feature at WISE 1.0 money fair

SEC to strengthen borrowing regulatory framework in Nigeria

The Securities and Exchange Commission, the Nigeria Investment Promotion Commission, and the Nigerian Exchange Group have confirmed their participation in the Nairametrics Money Fair, WISE 1.0.

Preparations are now in top gear for the event, scheduled for March 17–18, 2026, at the Landmark Event Centre in Lagos.

In addition to the SEC, NIPC, and NGX, the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Investment will also be fully represented, strengthening the lineup of government institutions and private sector leaders set to attend.

WISE 1.0 is designed to address the rising demand for trusted, accessible, and credible investment information in Nigeria’s increasingly complex financial landscape, according to Nairametrics.

“Beyond product discovery, the event is positioned to promote financial literacy and responsible investing, while strengthening investor confidence through direct engagement with regulators, product owners and financial experts,” the company stated.

WISE 1.0 is built around four strategic pillars: Wealth, Investment, Savings and Endowment.

Under the Wealth pillar, the event will target high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and private banking clients, with a focus on premium wealth advisory services, cross-border investments, luxury assets, portfolio structuring, and asset protection.

Expected exhibitors include private banks, wealth advisory firms, and residency and citizenship-by-investment consultants.

The fair will bring together retail investors, young professionals, high-net-worth individuals, pension-focused participants, regulators, and policy stakeholders, creating a direct link between these groups and financial service providers.

Key highlights of the event include a segmented exhibition marketplace structured into dedicated WISE zones, an investor education theatre featuring panel sessions and workshops, and a product demonstration arena where fintechs and investment firms can showcase their solutions and onboard new users.
