The 14th Emir of Kano and Vice President of Kaduna Investment Promotion Agency, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, has said that the continuing governance in Lagos state, from Tinubu’s regime to date has brought visible changes in the past 20 years.
The former Emir made this known during his address during the just concluded KadInvest 7.0, themed: ‘Building a resilient economy’ at the Murtala Muhammed Square, Kaduna.
In attendance at the event were, the state Governor of Kaduna, Nasir Ahmad El Rufai; the Senator, Kaduna Central Senatorial District and All Progressive Congress, Gubernatorial Candidate Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani; Chief Information Officer, Kaduna State Government, Hadiza Ismail; Presidential Candidate of the APC, Sen. Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“My prayer for the state is that we have continuity. For those of us who’ve lived in Lagos, we’ve seen how just having one governor after the other build on what the predecessor did… Anyone who knows Lagos 20 years ago knows that it’s changed, in every single respect.
“It’s not just the roads, it’s not just the unicorns, even the color of the water in the Marina. Really, for those of us who lived in Lagos, it was black. Over years of cleaning it up, it’s now actually looking blue.” he noted.
