Samsung Electronics unveils world’s largest LCD screen

Samsung blames US AI chip sanctions for profit slump, shares dip

Samsung Electronics has expanded its professional display portfolio with the launch of the 115-inch QHFX 4K Smart Signage display, which the company describes as the world’s largest LCD screen.

The new model is designed to bridge the gap between traditional videowalls and LED displays, offering enhanced visual performance and operational efficiency for enterprise, educational, and retail environments.

Building on the success of its 105-inch QPDX 5K display, Samsung said the QHFX 115” consumes 50 per cent less power and features a slim 34.1mm profile.

It delivers 1,000 nits of peak brightness, QLED 4K resolution, 10,000 local dimming zones, and DCI-P3 93 per cent color coverage for improved picture quality.

Supporting both portrait and landscape orientations, it allows up to four simultaneous content streams via its multi-view feature.

Samsung said the QHFX 115” is positioned as a flexible and high-impact solution for conference rooms, auditoriums, and flagship retail spaces, extending its leadership in large-format digital signage.

“In today’s digital-first world, businesses are eager to provide immersive experiences that captivate consumers,” said David Phelps, head of the display division at Samsung Electronics America. “Our super-sized Smart Signage brings a new standard for large-scale display, offering powerful audio-visual performance at a price point that opens the door to innovation.”

The company added that the QHFX 115” also integrates with Samsung’s Visual eXperience Transformation platform, allowing users to manage content and monitor multiple displays remotely in real time.
