Rockstar Games, a division of Take-Two Interactive Software, finally unveiled a trailer for the newest game in its popular “Grand Theft Auto” videogame franchise on Monday.
After a version was leaked on social media, the trailer for “GTA VI” was uploaded to the studio’s YouTube site. The movie is slated for release in 2025. Most people anticipated seeing the teaser by Tuesday morning.
The game’s teaser was released over ten years after the release of its predecessor, and it also happens to be Rockstar Games’ 25th anniversary.
The new title is expected to be an immediate hit and generate billions of dollars in sales annually, according to several analysts.
In one of the largest game leaks of the previous year, hundreds of “GTA VI” development recordings featuring shooting, robbery, and open-world driving were made public by a hack.
