The Chartered Risk Management Institute of Nigeria has urged risk professionals to maintain high ethical standards in their work.
According to The Punch, this instruction was given by the President and Chairman of CRMI, Professor Ezekiel Oseni, during the weekend’s induction of new members.
He advised the newly inducted to always act as worthy representatives of the institute. “We share a commitment to preserving the highest standards of moral behavior, ongoing learning, and proactive risk mitigation, one of the best career choices you can make is to want to join this institute, and being admitted there is a privilege you should value.”
Oseni tasked the 95 entrants with upholding the institute’s reputation worldwide, bringing value to their diverse organizations, and advancing the field of risk management in Nigeria.
“On our end, you can rest assured that the institute will offer you capacity-building platforms to deepen your understanding of every aspect of risk management practice, give you the skills you need, and provide mentoring experience when requested through our partners domestically and abroad,” he continued.
