Reddit has unveiled Reddit Pro, a suite of tools designed to assist businesses in growing their organic presence on the platform.
The move coincides with Reddit’s preparations for its initial public offering, marking the first time the platform has offered free tools for businesses’ social strategy.
Currently in beta testing, Reddit Pro provides businesses with an interface featuring AI-powered insights to identify trending topics and relevant conversations. The suite also includes publishing tools for drafting and scheduling public posts and performance analytics for analyzing organic post impact.
Businesses can turn their posts into paid advertisements without leaving the platform. Taco Bell, Wendy’s, the NFL, The Wall Street Journal, Kate Somerville, and Atlas Headrest are among the over 200 businesses that have started using Reddit Pro.
In testing, brands using Reddit Pro generated 11 more monthly posts and comments, with a +35% increase in monthly upvotes for organic content, on average.
“Through Reddit Pro, we’re connecting companies with communities in a mutually valuable way: unmatched insights and tools for enhanced participation from businesses, both organic and paid, which then drives more relevant and valuable experiences for our users,” said Reddit Chief Marketing and Consumer Experience Officer Roxy Young.
Reddit Pro is available to businesses and organizations on a first-come, first-serve basis. The company plans to introduce additional features for Reddit Pro later this year.
