Drake, a well-known Canadian rapper, has shown his kindness to a fan in need by giving a stunning $50,000 (N38.3 million) during a concert tour stop in Miami, Florida.
According to reports, Drake, a multi-millionaire musician with an estimated 2019 net worth of $150 million (according to Forbes), has been on a spree of surprising lucky fans throughout his “It’s All A Blur Tour” with not just spectacular performances but also opulent gifts, exotic vacations, and large sums of money.
The “Rich Flex” rapper searched the audience during his latest performance at the Kaseya Centre for a fan sign deserving of recognition.
A concertgoer he encountered said that he had “spent all my savings buying tickets for me and my ex.”
But right before the show, his “girlfriend” served him “breakfast.” In Nigerian slang, the phrase “breakfast” denotes being dumped.
“Drake responded by saying, for you to flex on her tonight, I’m giving you 50 bands. Big dog, that’s how we’re going about it tonight! Tonight is your night.”
On September 26, Drake surprised a newlywed couple in Atlanta who had forgone their honeymoon in order to see him perform live. He gave them a trip to Turks & Caicos, one of his favourite places, as compensation.
Drake gave a fan who had attended several of his concerts in Houston last month $10,000, a first-class ticket to Atlanta, and VIP seats for his event when it came to the Georgian capital.
The tour for Drake, which also included 21 Savage and Sexyy Red, is scheduled to end this month. Drake also revealed the date for the expected release of his upcoming album, “For All the Dogs,” which is set for October 6.
