The lifestyle and wellness company QNET, which uses a direct selling business model, claims it is steadfast in its dedication to transparency and taking prompt action against anyone who misrepresents its brand.
The Punch reported that the company has announced the introduction of a Compliance Hotline on WhatsApp for its operations in Sub-Saharan African nations, including Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Burkina Faso, Liberia, Cameroon, Mali, Guinea, Benin, Togo, and others, in order to further demonstrate its dedication to this goal.
“Transparency is crucial in the direct selling sector, particularly in developing nations where QNET is still growing. In order to establish and uphold high industry standards, the company aggressively promotes strict adherence to its Code of Conduct and Compliance Policies and Procedures,” the company said.
The statement claimed that the corporation has attempted to combat policy violations and deter unethical behaviour by enforcing severe disciplinary measures against anyone found to be in violation.
It added that it had fired several independent representatives in 30 different countries due to policy violations, noncompliance, and unethical behaviour.
It also mentioned how nine African governments’ law enforcement agencies received assistance from QNET’s legal counsel in filing accusations against more than 50 Independent Representatives.
However, it said that these efforts demonstrated QNET’s unshakable dedication to maintaining the credibility of the direct selling sector.
QNET’s regional general manager for Sub-Saharan Africa, Mr Biram Fall, stated that “QNET has launched the WhatsApp Compliance Hotline exclusively for this region to improve communication with our stakeholders in Sub-Saharan African markets, including customers, independent representatives, and distributors.
“Now that the hotline number is active, people may quickly get in touch with us if they have any queries or issues about QNET’s rules and practices or to report any abnormalities.
“Our commitment to transparency and the fight against con artists remains unwavering, and we continue to work with security and judicial agencies throughout the region to deter fraudulent activities,” the statement concluded.
