Otedola reclaims position as First Bank’s largest shareholder with 9.41% stake

The chairman of FBN Holdings and a billionaire from Nigeria, Femi Otedola, has reclaimed his position as First Bank’s largest shareholder.

He now holds a 9.41% stake in the bank, after acquiring N18.9 billion worth of the group’s shares in the NGX today.

Before this, Otedola owned 7.01% of the bank, trailing Oba Otudeko’s Barbican Capital Limited, which has an 8.67% ownership.
