Opera on Thursday, revealed that it will be adding Aria to Opera GX, a version of its primary browser designed with gamers in mind.

With this new function, Opera GX users may talk to a browser AI directly to find the most recent gaming news and advice.

By asking it for suggestions for characters in Baldur’s Gate or the release date for the eagerly anticipated video game Starfield, for instance, players can make use of the AI, as the business demonstrated.

Notably, Aria has an internet connection, so users may access real-time information updates. Aria on Opera GX is also connected to the AI Prompts function that Opera launched in March. Users can compose social media messages, summarise articles or webpages, and generate AI prompts with this tool.

Additionally, a new command line is being made available in Opera GX so that users can rapidly interact with Aria in a sidebar before returning to surfing. Ctrl + / and Cmd + / are the keyboard shortcuts for Windows and Mac, respectively.

Only Opera GX users with the Early Bird feature, which may be enabled in settings, can now access Aria, which is currently in beta. Prior to being made available to the general public, Early Bird installs the most recent builds.

In order to use Aria, users must also enable the “Aria Extension” and “Aria Command Line.”

Aria is accessible in more than 180 countries. Over a million people are now using the beta version.
