Opera announced on Wednesday that Aria, its browser AI product created in partnership with OpenAI, will now be available for iOS.

The AI solution had previously been made available on Opera for Android and Opera for desktop, where it has since surpassed 1 million users. The company says that Aria is now freely accessible on all significant operating systems, including Mac, Windows, Linux, Android, and now iOS.

Aria will offer a variety of perceptive suggestions and insights, as well as receptive voice commands. In order to use Aria, users must first sign into their Opera accounts.

Aria connects to OpenAI’s GPT technology and is built on Opera’s own “Composer” infrastructure.

Aria will be able to connect to many AI models thanks to Composer, which will also enable Aria to enhance its search and AI services capabilities in the future, including further advancements in generative AI and other features Opera plans to reveal in the future.

Opera on iOS includes a chatbot-like interface, just like other AI search buddies, so you can ask it questions and get answers without having to look them up online.

The Opera iOS app’s “more” menu, which is the far-right tab on the bottom navigation bar, contains a link to the AI. If you’d rather speak to Aria than type out your queries, simply hit the microphone button.

Aria is not Opera’s first AI product. The company was a pioneer in the development of AI Prompts, which let users instantly start conversations with generative AI services to condense or explain articles, create tweets, or seek pertinent resources based on the highlighted text.

In addition to having built-in ad blocking, a free VPN, tracking protection, a crypto wallet, support for private surfing, and more, Opera for iOS is available for free download.
