The Nigerian Ports Authority announced on Wednesday that 20 ships were currently discharging petroleum products and food items across the Lagos ports, specifically at Apapa, Tincan, and Lekki Ports.
This information was detailed in the NPA’s publication, ‘Shipping Position’, a copy of which was provided to the News Agency of Nigeria in Lagos.
The contents being discharged from these ships were listed as frozen fish, petrol, general cargo, containers, bulk sugar, buckwheat, bulk fertiliser, bulk urea, bulk gas, and bulk gypsum.
The authority also reported that two additional ships have arrived at the ports and are currently waiting to berth, carrying bulk wheat and containers.
Furthermore, the NPA indicated that 20 other ships carrying petroleum products, food items, and other goods are being expected at the Lagos ports complex between November 12 and November 14.
These incoming ships are expected to contain general cargo, buckwheat, bulk sugar, base oil, aviation fuel, diesel, gas oil, bulk urea, containers, and petrol.
