Popular actors, Osita Iheme (Pawpaw) and Saratu Daso have been named brand ambassadors by TAJBank Limited, the nation’s top non-interest banking services provider.
According to the Nigerian Tribune, this was done as part of its ongoing marketing initiatives to increase financial inclusion and public awareness of its services.
The bank’s managing director and chief executive officer, Mr. Hamid Joda, said Uzee Usman, Aisha Falke (Northern Hibiscus), and Hauwa Jalilah were brand influencers of the non-interest lender.
As he unveiled the brand ambassadors at the bank’s headquarters in Abuja, he stated that the initiative was built on TAJBank’s customer-focused business philosophy and was intended to use brand ambassadors and influencers’ selfless services and dedication to eradicate poverty at the local level to spread the word about TAJBank’s customer-focused services to millions of underserved and unbanked people throughout the country.
“Today’s event is epochal in our efforts to tell Nigerians and the rest of the world that TAJBank is committed to providing them with better service and bringing joy to as many people who are willing to bank with us,” he said.
“As you can see, over the years, these Brand Ambassadors and Influencers have established themselves as very responsible members of the movie industry.
“They demonstrate that they are people-oriented and socially responsible through their behavior, particularly through their financial and other assistance for the less fortunate members of society.
He added that all of this was in line with TAJBank’s company philosophy, which is to help the less fortunate by offering cutting-edge, interest-free products and services.
“Therefore, as TAJBank’s brand and marketing partners, we are confident that millions of customers who are ‘our only interest’ will immensely benefit from this partnership.
Osita Iheme, expressed his pride at joining TAJBank in its “commitment to poverty alleviation in the country, particularly at a time when more and more Nigerians are being forced into a poverty trap.
In his remarks, “I will represent TAJBank wherever I go going forward and tell people that TAJBank is the bank to bank with as it cares about everyone.”
One of the non-interest lender’s three newly-announced influencers, Aisha Falke, also told journalists outside the event: “I am extremely delighted to have emerged as one of TAJBank’s Influencers today.
“Please allow me to reassure the management that I will make every effort to spread the bank’s motto, “Our only interest is you, the customer,” to my supporters and fans both locally and abroad.
“TAJBank is a cutting-edge, interest-free institution that can support its clients through good times and bad and provide the greatest services without charging them any interest. The bank’s message is crystal clear, revolutionary service at no cost.
“I’m prepared to take this with me wherever I go,” she said.
