The Nigerian Independent System Operator has reported that energy sent out to the 11 electricity Distribution Companies rose to 4,871MW on Monday, October 27th, 2025, up from 4,783MW recorded on Sunday, October 26th, 2025.
This increase was made known in the Grid Performance Dashboard of the NISO.
Similarly, the document indicated that the total energy generated rose to 4,923MW on October 27th, 2025, also an increase from the 4,783MW generated on October 26th, 2025.
Meanwhile, as of 16:00 hours on October 28th, 2025, NISO sent out 4,783MW to the 11 DisCos.
According to the load distribution profile of the NISO, 732MW was allocated to Abuja DisCo while 390MW was sent to Benin DisCo.
The document said Eko DisCo received 613MW, Enugu DisCo received 372MW, and Ibadan DisCo received 573MW. NISO added that Ikeja DisCo received 732MW, Jos DisCo received 270MW, and Kaduna received 309MW. Kano, the document stated, received 321MW, Port Harcourt DisCo got 339MW, as Yola DisCo received 139MW.
At 16:00 hours on October 28th, 2025, the energy generated by 16 plants totalled 3,141.58MW.
