Nigeria’s inflation falls to 22.97% in May – NBS

Nigeria’s headline inflation rate fell to 22.97 per cent in May 2025, marking the second straight month of decline.

This was disclosed in the latest data released by the National Bureau of Statistics.

The drop from 23.71 per cent in April points to a sustained slowdown in price increases, offering early signs of relief for consumers and encouragement for policymakers working to stabilise the economy.
