The Nigerian team has won a prize at the just concluded Huawei ICT Competition 2022-2023 Global Final in Shenzhen, China.
The team from Ahmadu Bello University and Jilin University won the Grand Prize of the innovation competition.
The Network Track Grand Prize was won by teams from Yangtze Normal University, Hunan Industry Polytechnic, Guilin University of Electronic Technology, Guangzhou College of Commerce, and Shenzhen Polytechnic.
Others were the Cloud Track Grand Prizes won by teams from Guilin University of Electronic Technology, Shenzhen Polytechnic, and Nanning College for Vocational Technology.
The Shenzhen Polytechnic team took home the top honour in the computing track. The Jsgroup from Xi’an Jiaotong University received the Electric Power Digitalization Grand Prize, while the Imin team from Tsinghua University got the Smart Road Grand Prize.

The event drew more than 120,000 students from more than 2000 universities in 74 countries.
The Huawei ICT Competition seeks to give college students from all around the world a platform to compete and interact with one another in the ICT industry.
