Firm unveils unnamed vehicles, drone assembly in Nigeria

Elites Group of Companies, an indigenous Nigerian firm, has announced the start of an assembly and production line for unmanned vehicles, drones, and other security equipment in Nigeria to address security concerns and encourage economic growth.

According to The Punch, this strategic initiative was launched in response to a key agreement reached with overseas Original Equipment Manufacturers partners.

The Group Managing Director of Elites Logistics & Development Services Ltd, Otunba David Adesanya, revealed the company’s commitment.

He described the assembly and production line as a critical step towards upgrading Nigeria’s security infrastructure, contributing to the contemporary manufacturing industry, and producing a variety of socioeconomic benefits for a great nation and the African continent.

“One of the primary goals of this initiative is to significantly reduce the long delivery times that have been associated with waiting for foreign equipment manufacturing companies to produce and deliver drones to Nigerian clients.

“By assembling and manufacturing these drones locally, Elites Logistics & Development Services Ltd hopes to provide a faster response to the nation’s security challenges by making a wide range of technology solutions for surveillance, reconnaissance, and other purposes available.”
