The Nigerian government has collaborated with an automotive manufacturing entity located in Turkey to advance the country’s automobile sector.
According to the News Agency of Nigeria, this was disclosed by the Director-General of the National Automotive Design and Development Council, Jelani Aliyu, in an interview with newsmen.
Aliyu noted that the agreement was reached when he met with the Mayor of Sakarya, Turkey, Ekrem Yuce.
“The purpose of the trip was to discuss opportunities for Turkish cooperation and investment in the Nigerian automobile industry.
“Improved high-performance agricultural tractors, electric vehicles, and auto components are a few of the vital, he added.
Its goal is to develop and carry out strategies, plans, and programs for a successful, competitive, and diversified private sector.
