The naira traded at 452.67 to the dollar in the Investors and Exporters window on Tuesday.
According to The News Agency of Nigeria, the figures represent a 0.26 percent decline from the previous day’s exchange rate of N451.50.
The open indicative rate reached a high of N448.80 to the dollar on Tuesday.
Before it closed at N452.67 in the day’s trading, the highest exchange rate ever seen was N452 to the dollar.
In the course of the day’s trade, the naira fell as low as 440 to the dollar.
Rransactions at the official Investors and Exporters window also totaled N134.04 million on Tuesday.
