The naira appreciated further on Thursday as it exchanged at N461 to the dollar at the Investors and Exporters’ window.
A report by the News Agency of Nigeria accessed from The Punch states that there was an increase of 0.05 percent when comparing it to the N461.25 exchange rate on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the open indicative rate closed at N461.25 to the dollar on Thursday.
According to the report, the highest exchange rate it reached within the days of trading was about N462.11 before it finally settled at N461.
Also, within this same period, it was recorded that the Naira exchange rate reached as low as N446 to the dollar within the day’s trading.
NAN reported that a sum of 82.83 million dollars was traded at the official Investors and Exporters window.
