Profit Before Tax for the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company, NAHCO Plc, in its 2022 fiscal year was N3.8 billion, up 315 percent from N925 million in the prior year.
Vanguard reported that the ground-handling aviation company also saw a 63% increase in revenue, from N10.2 billion the year before to N16.7 billion.
Speaking during the company’s Annual General Meeting, NAHCO Chairman, Dr. Seinde Fadeni, expressed his satisfaction with the company’s perseverance in attaining a number of key milestones and providing value to shareholders.
“Our group revenue for the year 2022 was N16.7 billion, a 63 percent increase from the N10.2 billion figure from the prior year,” he stated.
“This was brought on by a number of circumstances, such as an increase in aircraft handling fees, the addition of new routes by some steadfast customers, such as Qatar Airways’ expansion into the Kano and Abuja routes, and Ethiopia Airlines’ inclusion of the Enugu route in its network.
“The launch of Air Peace’s Port Harcourt-Cameroon route, the growth of our great services, increased operational efficiency, and increasing client reliance on our capacity to deliver all contributed to the favorable outcomes.”
