Elon Musk’s satellite internet service, Starlink, experienced a network outage on Thursday.
The company confirmed the disruption and said it was working to resolve the issue.
More than 60,000 users reported connectivity problems on Downdetector, a platform that tracks service outages.
Elon Musk apologized for the disruption on his social media platform X, assuring users that “service will be restored shortly.”
Earlier on Thursday, Elon Musk posted that Starlink’s direct-to-cell service was “growing fast,” following the launch of T-Mobile’s Starlink-powered satellite offering to the public.
T-Mobile described the new T-Satellite service as a solution designed to keep phones connected “in places no carrier towers can reach.”
