The outage appeared widespread, with users from multiple regions in the US and India reporting trouble accessing Netflix.
The cause of the disruption remains unclear, and Netflix has not yet provided an official statement.

In India, the outage peaked at 9:30 AM, with over 1,295 reports of issues related to Netflix. Of these, 84% reported problems with video streaming, 10% faced issues with the app, and 8% encountered difficulties with the website.
Frustrated users took to social media to voice their concerns and seek updates on the outage. Many reported error messages and were unable to stream content. Hashtags like #Netflixfight, #Netflixcrash, and #CancelNetflix trended on the social media platform X as users shared their experiences.
A user on X with the handle @CCPISASSHOE said “If Netflix doesn’t fix this buffering issue, this will go down as one of the biggest fails in all of tv/streaming history ♀️ #PaulTyson.”
Another X user stated, “Microphones and earpieces for the hosts aren’t working, the stream keeps crashing, and the commentators seem confused at times.”
A viewer called these technical difficulties “disruptive”.
