Microsoft unveils AI-Powered videogame model ‘Muse’

Tech giant Microsoft has introduced a new artificial intelligence model designed to generate visuals and actions in video games, the company announced on Wednesday.

The model, called Muse, was developed in collaboration with Ninja Theory, a studio under Xbox Game Studios.

The initiative comes as video game development costs continue to rise, while consumer spending on new titles remains weak due to economic uncertainty.

“We are already using Muse to develop a real-time playable AI model trained on other first-party games, and we see potential for this work to one day benefit both players and game creators,” said Fatima Kardar, corporate vice president for gaming AI.

Microsoft’s push into AI-driven gaming reflects a broader industry trend as developers seek more efficient ways to create immersive experiences.
