Microsoft on Tuesday said its lowering the eligibility restrictions for enterprise-level Copilot solutions and introducing a subscription plan targeted at consumers.

For $20 per user per month, consumers may access Copilot GenAI capabilities in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote on PC, Mac, and iPad with the new consumer plan Copilot Pro.

Copilot composes, revises, summarizes, and creates material in Word and OneNote. Natural language instructions may be translated into well-designed presentations and data visualizations with Copilot in PowerPoint and Excel. In Outlook, Copilot helps write email messages with toggles to alter the length or tone.

In the future, Copilot Pro customers can choose between models according to their preferences and, if they desire even greater customisation, utilize Microsoft’s upcoming Copilot GPT Builder to construct “Copilots” specialized for certain themes from sets of prompts.

Companies who have a subscription to Microsoft 365 Business Premium, Microsoft 365 Business Standard, Microsoft 365 E3 and E5, or Office 365 E3 and Office E5 can use Copilot.

Microsoft Copilot now supports a greater number of languages. Arabic, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Hebrew, Hungarian, Korean, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Swedish, Thai, Turkish, and Ukrainian will all be added to Copilot in the first half of 2024.
