Meta is permanently lowering the price of its Quest 2 headset by $50, just months after launching its Quest 3 headset.
There is a $249 price reduction for the 128GB version and a $299 price reduction for the 256GB version. Notably, since Black Friday, the headset has been available for increased rates. Meta, however, has chosen to keep these costs in place permanently.
In addition, the company is selling a number of Quest 2 accessories for less money. Quest 2 Elite Strap is only $89.99 instead of $119.99 with battery. From $59.99 to $49.99 for the Quest 2 Elite Strap. $59.99 for the Quest 2 Carrying Case is now $44.99. Quest 2 Active Pack: now only $59.99 instead of $69.99, and $49.99 to $39.99 for the Quest 2 Fit Pack.
Meta increased the cost of the Quest 2 headset by $100, from $299.99 to $399.99, in July 2022. In an attempt to move more Quest 2 headsets, the business reduced the price of the headset to $299.99 when the Quest 3 was first introduced in June of last year.
Instead of investing $500 on the Quest 3, people might be persuaded to purchase the Quest 2 headgear in order to test virtual reality.
