Mark Zuckerberg faced playful ridicule for his outfit choice at the Meta Connect 2024 event, where he appeared in a baggy black T-shirt emblazoned with the phrase “AUT ZUCK AUT NIHIL.” This phrase is a twist on the Latin saying “Aut Caesar, Aut Nihil,” meaning “Either a Caesar or nothing.”

During his keynote speech, the Facebook CEO, 40, introduced the company’s latest AI innovations, including the highly anticipated Orion AR glasses. Zuckerberg described these glasses as the “first fully functioning prototype” of “the most advanced glasses the world has ever seen.”

Images of Zuckerberg in his distinctive T-shirt quickly circulated online, drawing mixed reactions. One user commented, “I know a modern Caesar when I see one,” while another quipped, “Cool guy, huh?” However, not everyone was impressed; one commenter suggested the shirt was an overstatement, stating, “All he’s doing right now is pump more AI trash on Instagram.”

Zuckerberg has been experimenting with his personal style, collaborating with designer Mike Amiri to create custom clothing featuring classical phrases. This year, he celebrated his 40th birthday with a Latin-inspired shirt that read “Carthago delenda est,” a nod to ancient Roman history.

The tech mogul’s transformation includes not only fashion changes but also a new fitness regimen. He has been spotted sporting a high-end De Bethune wristwatch, valued at approximately $95,000, indicating a shift in his spending habits.

As Zuckerberg embraces a more fashionable image, he appears to be shedding his former, more understated style, which often included simple tees and jeans. Fans are noticing his physical transformation as well, thanks to his rigorous training, which has resulted in a more muscular physique.

While some continue to mock his fashion choices, others are intrigued by his evolving persona as he steps into a new era of tech innovation and personal branding.
