During the annual conference of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered), managers throughout the nation will examine the economic policies of President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

The Punch reported that the conference this year, which will be held on September 18, 2023, in Lagos, will have the theme “Managing Nigeria’s Path to Sustainable Economic Growth and Prosperity: The Challenges before the New National Leadership,” according to a statement signed by the institute’s Registrar/Chief Executive, Mrs. Taiwo Olusesi.

Olusesi asserted that the institute’s realization of the need for the newly elected administration headed by President Bola Tinubu to swiftly make some significant policy decisions that would not only help but revamp and revive the nation’s economy.

The Federal Government has since gotten to work since the administration’s eight-point agenda, which focuses on fighting corruption and improving security, rule of law, economic growth, and job creation, was unveiled. It also focuses on ending poverty and improving access to capital.

“The annual conference, which is the centerpiece of the institute’s numerous activities and programs and one of its numerous contributions to nation-building, is providing the institute with the platform to conduct extensive brainstorming on burning governance and leadership issues of national importance and suggest solutions to the government and key decision makers.”

Olusesi revealed that there were over 2,000 participants, including government officials, decision-makers, opinion leaders, policy-makers, and senior management figures from both the public and private sectors.
