The link-in-bio startup, Linktree, has unveiled several new features on Tuesday, aimed at enhancing user experience.
These include a featured layout designed to highlight links more effectively, the capability to fetch the latest posts from Instagram, and support for a larger profile picture.
The new featured layout offers users the ability to spotlight specific links. When opting for the “Featured layout” for a link, it automatically expands with a content preview for links originating from platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Spotify, and Instagram.
Expanding on its January update, which introduced automated fetching of the latest posts from YouTube and TikTok, Linktree now extends support to Instagram. Users can display up to six of their latest posts and Reels directly on their Linktree profile.
Moreover, Linktree is enhancing visibility by enabling a bigger profile picture. Instead of a small circular profile image, users can now showcase a larger image on their profile, aligning with their page’s color scheme.
Another new addition is the “Text Links” feature, allowing users to display plain text on their profile. This feature serves as a versatile tool for showcasing information such as detailed bios, opening hours, or blog content.
Linktree’s user base, which exceeds 47 million, continues to grow. The platform recently launched its social commerce program in alpha, partnering with brands like Sephora, Revolve, and Urban Outfitters. Creators can now earn commission rates ranging from 12 to 15% through affiliate links.
