The Lagos State government has shut down Donald’s, a newly opened restaurant owned by renowned celebrity bartender, Cubana Chief Priest.

The restaurant, which began operations in August, had been running 24 hours a day.

This was disclosed by the Lagos State Commissioner for Environment, Tokumbo Wahab via his official X on Sunday.

Wahab stated that the restaurant which opened in August and operated around the clock, was shut due to noise pollution and failure to comply with other environmental regulations.

He said, “After several warnings and abatement notices, the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency @LasepaOfficial sealed Donald’s Fast Food on Adebayo Doherty Street, Lekki 1 over noise pollution and other environmental infractions.”

This action underscores the government’s focus on regulatory compliance in the hospitality industry.
