Lagos has maintained it’s position as the top recipient of Capital Influx in Nigeria during the fourth quarter of 2023.
According to Nairametrics analysis of the published National Bureau of Statistics report, in regards to capital importation in Nigeria in Q4 2023.
Capital inflow into Lagos State totaled $771.68 million during the fourth quarter period, constituting 65.38% of total Capital Influx into Nigeria, which amounted to $1.088.48 billion.
In addition, the National Bureau of Statistics, pointed out that Abuja had total of $370.80 million, which accounts for 34.07% of the national Capital importation; making Abuja the second destination in Capital inflow into Nigeria.
River State took the third position, receiving $6.00 million, accounting for 0.55% of the National Capital inflow during the same period.
The National Bureau of Statistics also highlighted that the total Capital importation into Nigeria of $1.088 in Q4 2023, was slightly higher than $1.060 billion recorded in Q4 2022, which represent a 2.62% increase.
