Lagos airport customs revenue rises by 25%

The Murtala Mohammed Airport Command of the Nigeria Customs Service generated N69.8 billion in income in 2022 as opposed to N55.67 billion in revenue in 2021.

This was disclosed by the Customs Area Controller, Sambo Dangaladima, while outlining the command’s projected earnings for 2022.

He said that the area command had never enjoyed such good fortune, with a massive rise of N14.1 billion, or 25.34%, in its revenue generation.The command exceeded the target with N2.83 billion, or a 4.24% increase, from the 2022 annual target of N66.9 billion, he said.
