They also toured the Lafarge Ewekoro Quarry to gain firsthand experience in mining operations and environmental conservation.

A guest trainer, from the Department of Geology, Kwara State University, Malete, Prof. Jimoh Ajadi, shared insights on global best practices in mining.

“Continuous learning and adaptation are crucial in the evolving landscape of mining,” Ajadi remarked, stressing the importance of safety regulations, environmental sustainability, and technological advancements.
