President Bola Tinubu has announced the removal of Kabir Yusuf Mohammed as Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria.
According to Nairametrics, Mrs. Olubunmi Oluwaseun Kuku has taken his place and will now be the agency’s substantive Managing Director.
The presidential spokesperson, Ajuri Ngelale, revealed this in a statement on Wednesday.
Additionally, the Managing Director of the Nigerian Airspace Management Agency, Mr. Tayib Adetunji, was dismissed by the president. He will be replaced by Engr. Umar Ahmed Farouk.
Furthermore, the president gave his approval to the dismissal of Engr. Akinola Olateru as Director-General of the Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau, with Mr. Alex Badeh Jr. taking over as the official Director-General.
Additionally, President Bola Tinubu authorized the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development to begin a thorough recruitment process for a substantive vice-chancellor and other key officers of the African Aviation and Aerospace University.
The President states that the directive is effective right away.
