Nigerians on X, formerly Twitter, have described the death of the Chief Executive Officer of Access Holdings, Herbert Wigwe, as a huge loss to the country.
AMBuisness reported that the 57-year-old business mogul died in a helicopter accident in California near the Nevada border, United States of America.
According to reports, this is the state’s second fatal accident in under a week as six people were feared dead after the horrific California helicopter crash.
Officials said the helicopter, a Eurocopter EC 130, crashed near Nipton on the edge of the Mojave Desert late on Friday evening.
It comes just days after a Navy chopper carrying five troops crashed during a routine training flight in Pine Valley, California.
According to NBC, the helicopter is registered to a Burbank-based tour company called Orbic Air.
