Gov Kefas pledges massive development projects across Taraba

Governor Agbu Kefas of Taraba State has pledged to embark on massive development projects in all sections of the state for the well-being of the people.

During a town hall meeting for the Southern Senatorial Zone, the governor reaffirmed his commitment to building a stronger and more prosperous state for all.

The zone, comprising Ibi, Donga, Takum, Ussa, and Wukari local government areas, allowed the Governor to interact with the people and receive firsthand information on their challenges.

Governor Kefas expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the people of the Southern zone for their support and votes in the 2023 election. He highlighted several achievements recorded across key sectors, such as education, health, agriculture, and security.

“I plan to embark on several projects, especially in the road network, including constructing collapsed bridges,” the governor said.

“I am determined to work and serve the people of the state, and that is why I have decided to meet with you, to hear your challenges in this town hall meeting and by special grace of God, work will soon begin across the state,” Governor Kefas added.

The Governor specifically told the people that by October 2025, his administration would embark on road construction and empowerment programs for women and youth.

Stakeholders from southern Taraba, including the Former Deputy Governor, Armayau Dauda, Member of the House of Representatives, Mark Bako Useni, and the Aku Uka of Wukari, commended Governor Kefas’s developmental strides and assured him of their unflinching support for his success.

The Chairman of Wukari local government area, Danazumi Angyu, thanked the Governor for embarking on people-oriented projects that have positively affected the region.
