A small number of businesses have been granted access to an early version of Gemini, Google’s conversational AI programme, according to a report by The Information.
According to the report, Gemini is meant to compete with OpenAI’s GPT-4 model.
The debut of Gemini holds a lot of significance for Google. Google has increased its generative AI efforts this year as it tries to catch up with OpenAI’s unveiling of ChatGPT last year, which rocked the tech industry.
According to the report, Gemini is a group of large-language models that power everything from chatbots to tools that either summarise material or create fresh content according on what people want to read, such as email drafts, song lyrics, or news articles.
Additionally, it is anticipated to assist software developers in creating original code and creating pictures based on customer requests.
The AI tool will be made available for the public through Google’s Cloud Vertex AI service,
