The Event Xperience Africa Conference’s organizers have announced that their third edition, with the theme “The Reset,” will take place in January, and promises to be an impactful, immersive, and educational experience for professionals and business owners in the event industry throughout Africa.

In a statement, Funke Bucknor-Obruthe, conference organizer and managing director/CEO of Zapphaire Events, said the conference, an annual gathering of event professionals from across Africa, was designed to give an ever-expanding audience of African event professionals the skills they need to succeed in the field.

She said; “The event industry is an integral part of Africa’s growing economy and The Event Xperience Africa (TEXA) intends to build a legacy for millions of event professionals across the continent, empower newbies, emerging and seasoned professionals alike and build an ecosystem for sustainable businesses in the industry.”

She noted that “The Reset” is the third edition in the series and that it marks a comeback following the pandemic.

The conference, according to Bucknor-Obruthe, will include a speaker roster from several African nations and the diaspora, giving attendees the opportunity to network, learn, and exchange with other African event professionals in order to be better prepared to start the new year off strong.

She added that professionals from event designers, concert and show producers, bakers and caterers, audio visual specialists (lighting, cinematographers, photographers), entertainment experts (musicians/bands, dancers), event planners, wardrobe and beauty specialists, and all service providers across the event industry are anticipated to attend the conference.
