President Bola Tinubu has named the former Katsina State Governor Aminu Masari as chairman of the board of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale on Tuesday, according The Punch.
Other members are, Senator Sani Danladi, Mr. Sunday Adepoju, Mr. Nurudeen Adeyemi, Mrs. Esther Ukachukwu, Mr. Turaki Ibrahim and Mr. Aboh Eduyok.
According to the statement, the President expects the new members of the board of this pivotal institutional vehicle to be “dedicated and committed to driving TETFund’s objective of providing the needed support for tertiary education with a view to enhancing the productivity and quality of higher education.”
