Galaxy Backbone Limited and the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure are forging a stronger partnership to bolster ICT services across the Nigerian government.

The alliance was solidified during a courtesy visit by GBB’s Managing Director, Prof. Ibrahim Adeyanju, to NASENI’s Executive Vice Chairman, Mr. Khalil Suleiman Halilu, in Abuja.

According to a Friday statement from GBB, the meeting provided a crucial platform for both leaders to advance a shared vision for enhanced public sector ICT delivery.

The statement reiterated GBB’s role as the government’s primary digital infrastructure provider, emphasizing its commitment to secure connectivity, improved service delivery across MDAs, and the integration of homegrown technology solutions.

During the meeting, both executives committed to a shared vision of a more connected government, focusing on platform interoperability, expanded digital access, and smarter, data-driven public services.

GBB also emphasised its mandate to power “a resilient government-wide ICT backbone, promote the adoption of secure digital platforms, and create a foundation that allows innovation to thrive.

“Together, GBB and NASENI will continue to advance initiatives that strengthen Nigeria’s digital economy and promote sustainable, technology-driven national development.”

The agency further stated that this partnership is a direct contribution to the acceleration of Nigeria’s digital future.
