Meta’s suite of apps, including Facebook, Instagram, and Threads, is currently grappling with widespread outages.
The service disruptions became apparent around 10 AM ET, as reflected in a surge of outage reports on Down Detector for these services, along with WhatsApp.
Users found themselves abruptly logged out of Facebook, prompting an inability to sign back in.
Notably, feeds on other affiliated services were failing to load for a substantial number of users.
However, it’s worth mentioning that WhatsApp, another major Meta service, continued to function for some users.
Meta is actively addressing these issues, and efforts are underway to restore normal service.
