Eterna Plc has announced the appointment of Dr. Jude Nwaulune as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective 14 May 2026.

His appointment follows the resignation of Mr. Olumide Adeosun, who stepped down from the position on 13 May 2026.

In its statement, the board commended Adeosun for his leadership and contributions during his tenure, expressing appreciation for his service and wishing him success in his future endeavours.

The board congratulated Dr. Jude Nwaulune on his appointment, highlighting his 19 years of experience spanning sales, marketing, business development, logistics, and operations within Nigeria’s downstream energy sector.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Ambrose Alli University, where he graduated with Second Class Upper Division honours.

He also obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism, with distinction in Public Relations and Advertising, from the Nigerian Institute of Journalism.

In further pursuit of academic and professional development, he earned a Master of Science in Marketing Communications and a PhD in Strategic Marketing Management from Babcock University.

Dr. Jude Nwaulune is also a member of several professional bodies, including the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria.

He is also a member of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria, the Nigerian Institute of Management, the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, and the Nigerian Institute of Training and Development.

According to the board, over the past 12 years he has driven growth initiatives, operational efficiency improvements, petroleum retail expansion, LPG penetration, supply chain management, and nationwide distribution operations within the industry.

Prior to his appointment as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Eterna Plc, Dr. Jude Nwaulune served as Managing Director of Rainoil Logistics Services Limited.
