Rainoil Ltd an integrated energy company has promised to add value to sports development in the country.
The Managing Director of Rainoil, Gabriel Ogbechie, made this known during the sports day organised by the company to mark its 25th-anniversary celebration.
According to him, the company organises the Rainoil Annual Tennis Tournament which takes place at either the Ikoyi Club or Lagos Country Club and has been one avenue to bring out budding talents in tennis.
“It is an annual tournament which will bring the best tennis players in the country to play and earn good prizes for themselves,” he said.
“We take sports very seriously because it is one veritable way of impacting the society and prosperity for our teeming youths in the country.
“So, we are looking forward to hosting this year’s tennis tournament in a big and better way.
The Rainoil sportsday event witnessed a series of sports including drills, scrabble, chess, 50m dash, relay race, thug of war and football.
“Promoting fitness is one of the most beneficial choices any employer can make to encourage their workers to reach their full potential,” Ogbechie continued.
“Also the sports day provides bonding moment that allows them to get to work out with other colleagues while taking a break from their job.
“I am highly excited today about the events lined up to celebrate our 25 years in operation.’’
