Emirates resumes flights after temporary Dubai suspension

Emirates to resume Nigerian flights Sept 11

Emirates has resumed flights after earlier suspending all operations to and from Dubai on Saturday.

The latest update was shared by the airlin on its official X (formerly Twitter) account.

Earlier in the day, the carrier had halted flights and advised passengers not to travel to the airport while it monitored developments affecting its operations.

Emirates has advised that passengers with confirmed bookings for afternoon flights can now proceed to the airport.

The airline also confirmed that the guidance applies to travelers transiting through Dubai, as long as their connecting flights are running.

“Our post from 11:08am Dubai time regarding operational status is no longer current, and has been deleted to avoid causing unnecessary confusion.

“Emirates has resumed operations. Passengers who have confirmed bookings for this afternoon’s flights may proceed to the airport. This includes customers transiting in Dubai, if their connecting flight is also operating,” the airline posted.

Passengers are urged to check the latest flight schedule before traveling, as only flights that are operating will depart.

Emirates said customers can view upcoming flights and book seats through its travel portal.

The airline added that it continues to monitor the situation and will adjust its operations as needed.
