Dangote Industries Limited has once again solidified its position as Nigeria’s “Most Valuable Brand,” topping the Top 50 Brands Nigeria 2025 ranking for the eighth consecutive year.
The 13th edition of the report showcases the most admired and resilient brands driving Nigeria’s economy.
Dangote recorded a Brand Strength Measurement Index of 86.3, reinforcing its status as Africa’s leading industrial conglomerate and Nigeria’s most trusted brand, according to the company.
The Group stated that the recognition reflects its ongoing commitment to industrial excellence, innovation, and impactful contributions across key sectors, including cement, sugar, salt, fertilizer, and now petroleum refining.
Commenting, the Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer, Dangote Industries Limited, Mr. Anthony Chiejina, stated: “This recognition is a testament to our consistent investment in quality, innovation, and brand integrity. At Dangote, we believe that the soul of business is not just in making profit, but in making people happy by creating opportunities, empowering communities, and contributing meaningfully to Nigeria’s industrial transformation. Our brand promise remains rooted in trust, excellence, and service to humanity.”
The 2025 ranking also highlights the rising prominence of indigenous brands, with seven of the top ten spots claimed by Nigerian companies, underscoring the competitiveness and resilience of local enterprises amid a challenging economic landscape.
According to Top 50 Brands Nigeria, brands were evaluated across seven key indicators—including popularity, category leadership, innovation, quality, and corporate social responsibility—to determine the final BSM Index score.
The platform’s Chief Brand Analyst and convener, Taiwo Oluboyede, emphasized that strong brands continue to play a crucial role in national development.
“Brand is not just an essential component of an organisation, the brand is the organisation. For something that is that important, there is always the need for periodic assessment and evaluation. That’s what this ranking represents, a mirror that reflects how strongly brands are performing in the hearts and minds of Nigerians,” Oluboyede said.
Operating across diverse industries and expanding its global reach, Dangote remains a driving force in industrial transformation, fostering local production, generating employment, and strengthening regional competitiveness.
