The Federal High Court on Friday freed Tigran Gambaryan, a 39-year-old American, and Nadeem Anjarwalla, a fugitive, from the Federal Inland Revenue Service tax evasion prosecution against Binance, a cryptocurrency exchange platform.
The court reached the judgment in a brief after the FIRS submitted new revised charges in response to a notice from Binance over the employment of a Nigerian representative named Ayodele Omotilewa, according to Nairametrics.
On March 22, the FIRS started legal procedures against the cryptocurrency exchange platform and Gambaryan over tax evasion.
